Despite being a January baby (#capricon4life), fall is and will always be my absolute favorite season. And while Southern California isn’t the prime spot to feel those fall vibes, there is no shortage of pumpkin patches. To be honest – pumpkin patches are my happy place. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve already been to 4 this season! There are so many options when it comes to pumpkin patch outfit ideas. So let’s dive into my favorite fall looks.
Pumpkin Patch Outfit Idea #1: Basic Fall
Let’s start with one of the most traditional (and easy to pull together) looks. It’s comfortable, functional, and chic. I’m a big fan of the shacket trend especially paired with a hat.
Pumpkin Patch Outfit Idea #2: Corduroy Classics
Corduroys are a fall classic – from overalls to jackets to pants – this is a must in every fall fashionistas closet. White corduroys for the pumpkin patch are a bit risky but I’m happy to report they came out of it unscathed. I paired mine with a beige bodysuit and black boots to make it work for a hot day.
Pumpkin Patch Outfit Idea #3: Preppy
This look was inspired by Gossip Girl (hint: Blair Waldorf). Unlike the first two looks, this one is a little more chic and a little less classic. Fun fact: I actually used my high school uniform skirt to pull this together!
Pumpkin Patch Outfit Idea #4:Glam meets comfortable
This might be my favorite of all the looks, and I threw it together in about five minutes. Make a flowy spring jumpsuit (or dress) more fall-ish with a turtleneck and belt. I think this is a good tip for any summer/ spring item you’re trying to repurpose for fall. Try to layer where possible, and add darker fall-colored accessories.
Pumpkin Patch Outfit Idea #5: Farm Fresh
Last up we have the classic oversized flannel with a t-shirt and jeans. Pro tip: Hunt bae or your dad’s closet for a flannel (that’s what I did)!
