This past week I celebrated the big 22. I don’t know if I would say that I’m “feeling” 22 as T-Sift claims, but I do like an excuse to celebrate. Especially when it comes to brunch. I wouldn’t peg Buenos Aires as a brunch hotspot, but I was surprised to discover a bunch of places. So today I’m sharing my favorite brunch spot in Buenos Aires. Two of my favorites? OLSEN and Oui Oui (both in the hopping area of Palermo).
OLSEN was the setting for my 22nd birthday brunch. I loved that I felt like I was sitting in a backyard forest. It felt so Restoration Hardware meets Southern California charm. I also loved the unique menu where you pick a starter, a main course, and a side. I was also a fan of the mini personal champagne bottles that came with every mimosa!
Oui Oui was a French-inspired pastry shop meets restaurant perfect for a study date. The exterior was perfect for a sunny day, but even the interior was a nice spot to enjoy a cold coffee and eggs benedict.
It was pretty odd realizing that brunch outside of the states isn’t necessarily so different from brunch abroad. So there you have it! My favorite brunch spot in Buenos Aires. What have your international brunch experiences been like?
