Growing up in San Diego, California, it practically felt like there was a trendy brunch spot on every corner. Moving to San Jose, I was met with a lot of delicious diner brunch spots, but nothing ~trendy~. After a few years, I’ve found a few spots with not only delicious ambiances, but wonderful food. Keep reading for the 4 trendiest San Jose brunch spots.
San Jose Brunch Spot #1: Zona Rosa
Let’s start with a spot that feels like it was plucked out of the trendy La Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City. Zona Rosa is not only my date night go-to, it’s a hidden gem on the San Jose brunch scene.
Their menu features “Mexican village” style cuisine with a modern twist. The homemade tortillas are of course a must.

San Jose Brunch Spot #2: Breakfast Club at Midtown
This popular San Jose will have you waiting upwards of 3 hours if you arrive during prime brunch time.
