Morning Glory , located in the heart of Little Italy is Great Gatsby meets decadent millennial, and I’m here for it. Every little aesthetic details is thought of, from the champagne vending machine to the coffee served in glass goblets. Note: they also serve lunch and afternoon tea.

- Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM daily
- Pro Tip: Go early if you want to sit in the main dining room as it gets packed even on weekdays.
- What I ordered: Soufflé pancakes, “Millennial Tear” (avocado toast), oat milk latte, cold brew.
Best Trendy San Diego Brunch Spot #2: Cesarina
Cesarina is somewhat new on the San Diego brunch scene (it’s been open a little over a year) and completely lives up to the 5 stars and 500+ reviews they have on Yelp. Located in the Point Loma, this is favorite for those in the area and San Diegans alike. The best way to describe it is as “memories from the Amalfi Coast.” Between the decor, the elevated menu, and the fabulous service, it totally feels like you’re on vacation. We also hear a visit for dinner is an absolute must, so we’ll be back!

Best Trendy San Diego Brunch Spot #3: Piacere Mio
Piacere Mio reminds me of a little Italian restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn with the exposed brick and hanging lights. With most of the waiters being Italian, you’ll feel right in Italy while sipping cappuccino out of their Lavazza cups.

Best Trendy San Diego Brunch Spot #4: Madison on Park
We discovered this vibrant spot while researching brunch spots in San Diego that would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day date. We were quickly drawn to the Mediterranean-inspired menu and aesthetic decor. Our call? Come for the ‘gram, but stay for the good food.

Not only does Queenstown Public House have unique dishes (they feature New Zealand cuisine), but their garden party decor makes for a great spring/ summer dining experience.

Best Trendy Brunch Spot #6: Shorehouse Kitchen
Shorehouse Kitchen is somewhat new to the La Jolla brunch scene. Their restaurant/ coffee shop located steps away from the beach can be described as trendy beach chic. More than anything I am OBSESSED with their food and always take guests to San Diego here.

Parakeet Cafe has a few different locations, each with a slightly different aesthetic. Another vegan-friendly location, there is something for everyone to eat here.
