Best San Diego Pumpkin Patch #1: Goff Family Pumpkin Patch

Located at Liberty Station, the Goff Family Pumpkin Patch celebrated its first annual opening! While the patch itself is small, they’ve really put together a must-visit spot. Each corner is incredibly instagrammable, and they’ve teamed up with local businesses to offer a tap truck and flowers for sale.
Best San Diego Pumpkin Patch #2: Carlsbad Strawberry Company
- Location: 1050 Cannon Road, Carlsbad, CA 92008
- Admission: $5 (extra for activities)
- Features: Corn maze, apple cannons, tractor rides, bounce house, instagrammable spots, food stands.
- Pro Tip: Head over there with the family for at least a half-day of fun!
The Carlsbad Strawberry Company is a seasonal favorite (and a tradition in the community). Each year they continue to expand their patch with more activities. What we particularly love about this spot is that it’s practically become an amusement park! Visitors can easily spend half a day here taking photos and exploring the grounds.
Best San Diego Pumpkin Patch #3: Family Christmas Tree Farm

- Features: Fresh hot apple cider, hayrides, maze/ scavenger hunt, farm animals.
- Pro Tip: Be sure to come back to cut down your Christmas treet!
A staple in the San Diego community, the Family Christmas Tree Farm celebrated their first annual pumpkin patch! They pulled out all the stops with fresh apple cider, hayrides, and more! We love that you can pick your pumpkin straight from the vine.
Best San Diego Pumpkin Patch #4: Rancho Bernardo Pumpkin Farm

- Features: U-pick Sunflower field, corn maze, train ride, petting zoo, and tractor ride.
- Pro Tip: Call in advance to check on the status of the sunflowers. They come in at different times each season.
The Rancho Bernardo Pumpkin patch is a hidden gem in the community and it’s not because of their pumpkins! They are the only place in San Diego to offer u-pick sunflower fields. This is a must-do activity that most people don’t know about. While you’re there, check out their wide variety of different types of pumpkins to take home.
