I’m back at it again with more Mexico City details! This time let’s talk fashion with my Mexico City look book. In my packing post, I discussed the importance of picking a color scheme and sticking to it in order to maximize space.
For a 6 day trip, I repurposed 4 shirts, two scarves, 2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shoes, a sweater and a jacket into 5 looks (I repeated my flight outfit for the way there and way back). I only managed to photograph 3 as we were pretty on the go.

Look 1: Teotihuacan
For the trip out to the pyramids, we were told that it would be warm. But the CDMX has a way of being 40 degrees in the morning, 75 degrees in the afternoon, and 60 in the evening.
I went with my Adidas for a day of walking, ripped jeans, a gray sweater (not featured), and a multi colored scarf which doubled as a scarf and shall.
Look 2: City Tour Day
On this day we did a lot of hopping off and on the tour bus, and seeing some sights. I went with a black long sleeve, gray sweater, and light gray skirt with my booties. It was a good luck for transitioning to a nice lunch!
Look 3: Xochimilco & Frida Khalo Museum
In look 3, I wore ripped black jeans with an ombré flannel. I dressed it up by adding a statement necklace. I brought my sweater along since the weather per usual kept changing!
I seriously need to be better about photographing my looks (oops!) Thanks for reading my Mexico City Look book. What’s your favorite look? Check out more Mexico City content here.
